The evolution of Jane

So my sculpt has changed yet again. Of course she needs major refinement but I'm always into seeing other artists works in progress so here is mine.

My frustration is that I can't for the life of me find my favorite sculpting tool!!!! Where it walked off to I don't know...could be my children, or the goblins (oh wait...those are the same! LOL) I would go out to buy a new one right now but my car is in the shop! Oh well, c'est la vie. I can't go any further without my tool. :o(

She's coming along nicely. I hope you find your tool. We have a goblin here too. I know the frustration.

It's always the thing you want that you can't find. But it's the junk that always seems to be in the way of everything.

Nice piece here. Thanks for sharing.

Wow! She's is going to be amazing! I swear I have a ghost in my studio - everytime I set a pencil down, it disappears! Hope you find your tool - I know how frustrating that can be.

Hi Amy!! Wow, I LOVE HER!!! I'm so excited to see your new work in progress!! She looks amazing already! And I love the others you've been doing aswell! Did 'attitude lady' survive her fall?! Great to see you had such a good time in England! (Loving the smiley stone!) But I can't believe you came all the way to the UK without coming to Wales to track down the cast of Torchwood! ;)

Thank you so much for your lovely email! So great to hear from you! I have been so bad at browsing blogs lately, just so busy. My apologies.

Please please check the url link when you try to comment on my blog.
It can't say mac in there, mac must be replaced with me. I know, it is silly. But it is since the big change over at mac. Lots of people still can not leave comments for me.

Sending many hugs to you! Hoping you and your loved ones are doing great!

Love, annax

hi amy!! oh wow....i LOVE jane....i am amazed at how smooth her texture is..terra cotta? or is it air dry clay? i use this clay with a bit of grog in it for elasticity and strength. but i have to sacrifice a smooth texture...your sculptures are just beautiful!! i love seeing them in progress...do you use paints to finish? sorry for all of the questions. i just love seeing how my fellow artists work.
thank you so much for your awesome comment also! oh man, do you understand! so soon will i have THREE little goblins also...but i really can't wait...
i think your tool wound up in my studio...those goblins work in mysterious ways. you are such an inspiration to me....people just don't understand how we can work and have kids....and with three, you still do it! yay for you! can't wait to see how jane turns out. happy halloween to you!! xo lisa
