Friends in high places

Here is the latest illustration. I am getting frustrated lately...mostly I find it good that my finished piece doesn't look like how I pictured in my head but this monster bummed me out a bit. He was so much cooler in my head. Oh well, what can you do but move onto the next and hope that it turns out better. I used to have the mentality of not finishing things that weren't "perfect"...yeah, I'm over that now. LOL

So here he is:

I love him! He reminds me of that big red monster on Bugs Bunny. "I will hug him and pet him and squeeze him and I will call him George"

I can't believe how many new pictures you've drawn just since the last time I was here! You are so fast. When are your prints going to be ready? I've just got to get one of the little girl in tights.

I hope to have some of them up by the end of next week. It took me a long time to find a printer that I trust to do the kind of prints that I want...picky, picky, picky!! I am THRILLED that you like my work! Please come back often because I am working on new things everyday...some just take longer than others to complete.

I must have a big red monster! You ought to find a writer and put together some children's stories. You'd be a great illustrator!

This reminds me of Where the Wild Things Are, especially with the movie just out this summer. I think this is tops on my list of faves of your artwork! Really cool!
